Pacific Docs was established as a place where Pacific Island Artists, Journalists, Academics, Filmmakers and other talented and creative individuals or groups can be recognised and encouraged to pursue and promote their idea’s, their skills and their achievements.
Although Pacific Docs encourages all forms of art and media practices, there will be a push to promote emerging and existing visual artists who work in Film and Video and Photography, with a particular interest in work that looks at issues of culture and identity and documentary making. Pacific Docs would like to encourage all artists to promote their work by submitting examples of their folio’s to be featured on the site.
